
MyCAA Provides up to $6,000 in Financial Assistance to Military Spouses
Military spouses deserve a high-quality education that leads to an in-demand career. What's more, they need a career path that's portable, so relocation never gets in the way of reaching their goals.
To be eligible for up to $6,000 in financial assistance, you must be the spouse of an active duty or activated Guard or Reserve servicemember.
How to ApplyStep 1: Send an e-mail to a UMUC Europe MyCAA advisor and give your name, contact information, and location. Step 2: Select "Create an account". Read the Fact Sheet and agree to the Statement of Understanding (SOU) then create a MyCAA account. Step 3: Call or contact a Military One Source Career/Education Consultant at 800-342-9647 or by email through your MyCAA portal to begin working on career goals and a career plan with UMUC.Step 4: Use the School Search function under the Resources tab; you can search by University of Maryland University College or State of Maryland. Step 5: Be sure to include all of the requirements for your degree program in your Career and Training Plan. Step 6: New students must fill out the Step 7: Enroll in your selected program or course at UMUC. Financial assistance is paid directly to schools and other payees registered in the AI portal. |
The Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) program is providing up to $6,000 for education and training in any University of Maryland University College (UMUC) or Bowie State University (BSU)* program, including:
Undergraduate
Graduate
