UMUC Europe GEM Courses

Five courses and you're done!

Choose one course from each of the five categories listed below to complete your Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) associate's degree GEM requirements.

Listed below each category are a selection of UMUC Europe courses or subject areas that may apply. UMUC guarantees that at least one course from each category will be offered online during each session, making it possible to takes courses every session to fulfull your GEM requirements. Many of the GEM courses will be offered on-site as well. Please check with your local UMUC Europe field representative or Air Force education counselor for more information on course applicability.

Social Science

Most 100- or 200-level courses in ANTH, BEHS, ECON, GEOG, GVPT, HIST, PSYC, SOCY, and WMST
