Homework

Purpose: to review and learn the topics that has been and will be presented.

This is probably the most important part of the course, as it is where you are likely to confront the critical concepts. There are four types of assignments. READ and HAND IN.

READ: There are two basic sources of material for this course: (1) reading material in the syllabus and/or handed out in class, and (2) class notes and classroom discussions. When the assignment is to READ either some reading material or from the textbook, this reading is an important introduction to the topics to be discussed in class. I will proceed on the assumption that you have done the reading before class and have understood much (but not necessarily all) of it.

HAND IN: You must turn your analysis, research, etc. typically in the format of a written report.

Your team will determine project the project topic. To facilitate your project planning, a written project proposal stating the fifth class must submit the Objectives and Approach to me, I will either approve or make suggestions to your team by the following week. Please feel free to discuss your project with me. Your team is also expected to present your work at the last sessions of the class. The entire class will grade your team's presentation.
