Directions and Parking
The UMUC office is located in the Izmir Education Center in Izmir's highest building, the Hilton Izmir, in room 601. To enter the building, you must present two picture IDs at the entry inspection point. Parking is available in conjunction with the hotel.
Computer Labs
The Air Force sponsored computer lab has eight computers available for student use. Each computer provides access to the commercial Internet, as well as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. There is a smart board and projector available. The computer lab is accessible 24 hours a day.

Testing Services
Placement tests for English and math courses and proctored exams for distance education courses are available through your local UMUC office. Please contact the field representative to schedule an appointment.

Additional Site Information
Izmir is a small base with three buildings, including a fitness facility, public library, BX, and commissary; however, no housing is provided. Izmir is a beautiful city surrounding Izmir Bay and has a population of about 4 million people. The city is close to many historical sites and attractions.
