Directions and Parking

The UMUC office is located in the Adana Education Center in Building 2715A, room 211.

Incirlik Air Base is located about 20 kilometers away from the Turkish city of Adana. The UMUC Europe office is located in Bldg 2715A, next to the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) high school building.

Computer Labs

The UMUC sponsored computer lab has ten computers available for student use. Each computer provides access to the Internet, as well as a word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. The computer lab is accessible Mon-Fri, 0800-1700.

Testing Services

Placement tests for English and math courses and proctored exams for distance education courses are available through your local UMUC office. Please contact the field representative to schedule an appointment.

Additional Site Information

Incirlik is an Air Force base serving in support of the U.S and the country of Turkey (Turkish Air Force). The mission of the Incirlik Air Base is to provide responsive air power and forward presence for the United States and NATO. To get on and off base, you must have a pass, which takes between one to three months to obtain.

Lodging is available on base at the Hodja Inn. Dining facilities include: Taco Bell, Burger King, Anthony's Pizza, Baskin Robins, country club restaurant and a Turkish cafe.
Other services include a base exchange, Shoppette, commissary, public library, movie theater, fitness center, out-door swimming pool, and miniature golf course.
