Directions and Parking

The UMUC office is located in the Salerno Education Center in Building 404.

To find our location please walk to the center of Camp Salerno. The Education Center is located within the same vicinity as the community chapel, calling center and PX.

Computer Labs

UMUC does not provide a computer lab at this location. However, a computer lab is provided through the Army Learning Center (ALC) in the Education Center. The ALC is open daily from 0800-2200.

Testing Services

Placement tests for English and math courses and proctored exams for distance education courses are available through your local UMUC office. Please contact the field representative to schedule an appointment.

Additional Site Information

For OPSEC reasons, not much information may be provided about the Salerno site, however the weather in Afghanistan is hot and dry with an occasional heavy rainstorm. Dining facilities include a military chow hall and a Subway.
