Directions and Parking
The UMUC office is located in the Brussels Education Center in Building 1, room 323.
From Germany, take Autobahn 62 north toward Trier. Watch for the road signs for Luxembourg and follow them. This will put you onto the German Federal Highway 51 toward Bitburg. Highway 51 becomes the A48 toward Luxembourg. As you near Luxembourg City merge onto the A-4/E411 toward Brussels. About halfway to Namur, the E25 Autobahn will split off into the A-4/E411 in the direction of Bastogne and Liege. Stay on the E411 Namur/Brussels until you come to the junction of the E411 with the E42. Maintain a straight orientation on the A4/E411. Keep driving straight on until you come to the Ring Ost (RO), then drive toward Brussels and Zaventem (the airport of Brussels). Continue driving straight on the Ring Road untill you see the intersection of the Ring with the A3/E340. Follow the signs Brussels/Leuven (Louvain) and drive toward Brussels. Merge onto the A3/E340 and you will see the first exit, “Kraainem-Woluwe” (exit 20). Take the exit 20 turn left at the end of the ramp. Go up a hill to a traffic light. Once on post at gate one, there is an option to park underground or on a platform. Select the underground parking option. elect the underground parking option. Take the elevator from the parking garage up to the third floor. Exit the elevator and turn left. Walk across the walkway toward Bldg 1. The UMUC office is located on the third floor.
Computer Labs
The UMUC sponsored computer lab has eight computers available for student use. Each computer provides access to the Internet, as well as a word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. The computer is accessible from Mon-Fri, 0800-1200.

Testing Services
Placement tests for English and math courses and proctored exams for distance education courses are available through your local UMUC office. Please contact the field representative to schedule an appointment.

The United States Army Garrison Brussels is a NATO support activity installation, therefore the Brussels education center services a variety of nations. There are limited facilities available on base, to include a snack bar, Shoppette, fitness center, and public library.
The nearest community to the Brussels installation is the city of Brussels, the cultural hub of Belgium. Available within the city of Brussels is a number of lodging, dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
