Financing your education is a major commitment, but at UMUC you will discover a variety of financial aid options that can work within your budget. UMUC financial aid advisors are ready to help you explore these options.

How to Apply

  1. To get started, the first step is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) 
    • Use UMUC school code 011644
  2. To complete the application process, follow these steps
  3. You will be notified via e-mail if further documentation is required and when you have been awarded. 

Application Priority Deadlines

  • Fall: June 1
  • Spring: November 1
  • Summer: April 1
