Undergraduate or Graduate Scholarship Programs
Most of the scholarships listed below are renewable. Renewable scholarships are those that allow recipients to remain eligible for aid under the same program for more than one year. To be considered for renewal, you must reapply each year. Renewal awards are not guaranteed. You may receive one UMUC scholarship or grant award per academic year.
Note: Unless otherwise indicated, UMUC undergraduate scholarships require a minimum GPA of 2.5 and completion of 15 undergraduate credits at UMUC and UMUC graduate scholarships require a minimum GPA of 3.0 and completion of 9 graduate credits at UMUC.
Alumni Association Scholarship
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrate financial need
- Preference given to underserved populations and single parents
Edward A. and Marjorie M. Parnell Scholarship
- Demonstrate financial need
European Division Endowed Scholarship
- Demonstrate financial need
Linda Trankle Scholarship
- Students with less than 15 credits with UMUC
- Demonstrate financial need
Ray Ehresenberger Endowed Scholarship
- Preference to students pursuing a minor in international business management and/or the general studies foreign language focus programs
- Degree concentration in computer studies or foreign languages
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrate financial need
University College Endowed Fund
- Minimum GPA of 3.75
- Demonstrate financial need
UMUC President's Scholarship
- Minimum GPA of 3.75
- Scholarship application is not required
Vida J. Bandis Scholarship Fund
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Preference given to students of Lithuanian Heritage
- Demonstrate financial need
Wilson H. Elkins Scholarship Fund
- Demonstrate financial need
