$150 Europe Book Award

Thank you for your interest in the UMUC book awards for spouses and family members of all active duty servicemembers. We are honored to support the education of those who support our heroes. UMUC Europe is pleased to offer our unique book award program for the Summer 2012 semester. We encourage you to apply early - we are accepting applications now. It only takes a few minutes and you may receive a $150 award to help pay for UMUC textbooks. Only one application per student per semester will be processed. The $150 Europe Book Awards for Summer 2012 will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Both new and current students are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Spouse or family member of an active duty servicemember (all ranks) of the U.S. military
  • Degree seeking with UMUC
  • New or current student attending UMUC Europe
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate) at UMUC
    (The minimum GPA is waived for new students)
  • Enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for Summer 2012
  • Enrollment in other sessions will not apply

Using the $150 Europe Book Award

  • A UMUC Europe representative will send you an award confirmation e-mail
  • Your $150 award will be credited to your account after eligibility has been established
  • Select the option Third Party Payment when ordering through webText Europe

Please note: Employees of UMUC and their dependents are not eligible to apply for the Europe Family Member Book Award Program.
