Alumni Neckar Cruise Security Notice
Due to the recent increase in security risks, the force protection staff associated with the U.S. Forces in Heidelberg, Germany, recommended the cancellation of the UMUC Alumni Neckar Cruise. In the interest of the safety of our graduates and guests, UMUC-Europe regrets to announce the cancellation of the cruise on Saturday, 26 May. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Graduates and guests may still want to take advantage of the many other leisure activities offered in the area. UMUC wishes you a memorable and safe weekend.

Location and Security
All events on Sunday will take place in the Village Pavilion at Patrick Henry Village in Heidelberg. Due to the present level of security on U.S. military installations in Europe, all persons without valid identification cards (U.S. military, CAC, DOD) must complete the security questionnaire. All forms are located online.
Please note: If security information is not received by 17 May 2007, you may be refused access to Patrick Henry Village.

Robing (0900–1200)
Student check-in and robing will be held in the Village Pavilion. You should report for robing no later than 1200.

Commencement Portraits and Videos (0915–1215)
A professional photographer will be available for individual Commencement portraits. In the same general area, orders may also be placed for the official Commencement recording.

Line-up (1230)
All graduates will gather for the line-up and final roll call. Please follow the signs and gather in the areas designated for your degree. Guests may not accompany graduates to the line-up.

Processional (1400)
The processional begins. The graduates march into the Village Pavilion Ballroom first, followed by UMUC-Europe faculty and officials.

Post-Commencement Reception
Please join us for the Commencement reception, which will be held in the Village Pavilion immediately following the ceremony.

Information Desk
There will be an information desk in the main lobby of the Village Pavilion. Services provided include assistance with Commencement and reception tickets, general information, and first-aid supplies for the treatment of minor injuries.
